"Diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Clinical Oncology Queen Margaret Hospital / Urology Victoria Hospital / Clincal Oncology Victoria Hospital / Urology

(as the patient),

Routine blood test at my GPs observed my PSA was raised, Dr Zheng immediately started my tests. Attended urology department at the Queen Margaret hospital, Dunfermline, for prostate biopsy. Nurse Beth admitted me, she was so professional, put me at my ease, explained the procedure clearly and promised me a coffee and toast on completion, which I got.

Was seem by Dr. Steph, who did the procedure and assisted very well by nurses David and Moira. I was so impressed with the team and thank them so much. I am so proud of the NHS in Fife.

I am being treated between QMH Dunfermline and the Victoria, Kirkcaldy, mention Kat my allocated oncology nurse, she has phoned me at home to check on me, Mr. Elsayed was the doctor who dealt with me at the Victoria.

I can't praise them enough, above and beyond at all times.

I would be grateful if you could pass my thanks and best wishes to all concerned...thanking you all.....❤️🌹

Thank you for your lovely feedback regarding your recent experiences within the urology service.

It is lovely to hear your positive comments regarding all of the staff who you have encountered, and how supportive they were to you throughout. They will all be grateful for your feedback and very happy to know they made a difference.

I hope you enjoyed the coffee and toast! It is always well received.

We all send our best wishes with your ongoing treatment, and as my colleague Audrey has said, do not hesitate to contact us should you need to.

Kind regards
