About: Paediatric surgery / Children's Surgical Unit Ward 30

(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter was admitted for day knee surgery at ward 30, Ninewells Hospital.  

The care and treatment she received was outstanding from start to finish.  As parents we felt reassured & were included and supported. There were many staff involved in her care, doctors, nurses, support worker’s, theatre staff & porters.  

We were treated with kindness and understanding from all & this made for a positive experience for my daughter who was understandably very worried.  

I would like to thank everyone we met today.

thank you so much for taking time to post such lovely feedback.

We are delighted to hear you and your daughters experience was so positive in our Children's Day Surgery Unit, ward 30.

You quite rightly highlight the many professionals involved and we appreciate how daunting this must feel.

Despite it being a very busy ward, it sounds like everyone demonstrated kindness, compassion, time and patience.

I am so glad you felt included in the journey.

I will make sure we share this with all the team and I hope your daughter is recovering well.
