"They were always welcoming, considerate and respectful"

About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Reproductive Health (Simpson Centre)

(as a service user),

Going through IVF treatment at the Edinburgh Royal infirmary was a great experience.

The whole team, both nurses and doctors were amazing. They were always welcoming, considerate, respectful and open to answer all questions and make us feel heard and well taken care of. Even when things went wrong or we had to make difficult decisions they were there to understand and support. I am quite a nervous individual and they always manage to calm me down.

Dear Zoek,

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. It’s wonderful to hear that your time at the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary during your IVF treatment was such a positive one.

It’s clear that the team’s care and compassion made a real difference to your experience, and I’m so glad to hear that they were able to provide you with the support, understanding, and reassurance you needed, especially during those difficult moments. Your feedback is incredibly valuable, and it’s heartwarming to know that the nurses and doctors were able to make you feel heard, respected, and well cared for throughout your journey.

We understand how nerve-wracking such a process can be, and it’s great to hear that you felt calm and supported in their hands. Your well-being is always a priority, and knowing that you felt this supported is truly encouraging for the whole team.

Wishing you all the best,

Katy Ruggeri
