"Best GP Practice in Newark"

On 3 April I had filled in a non-urgent request for a GP appointment, I had just noticed a lump and wanted advice. That same day I had to go for a routine blood test and the nurse had noticed my non urgent request. She arranged for a doctor to call. The following morning a GP called, asked questions and asked me to go in the same day. He sent an urgent request to be seen by the hospital, just to make sure it wasn’t anything sinister. Today (Monday 7th April), I have just had a call from the practice secretary who asked for my choice of hospital, Newark or Kings Mill. She has sent my referral and said I should hear back in a couple of days with an appointment to be given within 2 weeks.

I can’t begin to say how impressed I am with this surgery. How kind everyone is and how in spite of all the negative things we hear about the services these days, I can honestly say since I’ve been with Lombard St I have felt taken care of. Safer, and grateful, and I personally would like to thank all of your GP’s, Nurses, and other staff for all you do.
