"The staff are all very kind and caring"

I want to express my appreciation and support for the care I am receiving at the Torrington Community Hospital and in particular the Day Treatment Unit. I need to have blood tests and give blood every week at the moment for my condition so travelling to and from hospital is an undertaking. Barnstaple is some 40 minutes drive for me and Torrington is my local town so very much more convenient. The staff are all very kind and caring and the hospital has a warm and friendly atmosphere which makes for what could be a stressful event much more relaxing and calming. The Day Treatment Room has a lovely large window providing a view to a little garden which provides a lovely distraction during treatment and I really think this adds to the calm atmosphere of the hospital.
