"So empathetic and kind"

About: Maternity care / Ward 48 (labour ward)

(as the patient),

I went into labour and was having contractions I then rang the labour department in Altnagalvin as I also wasn’t sure if baby had moved within a few hours.

When I went in me and my partner was told there no heartbeat.

I then went into labour and was brought to the labour ward.

I can’t thank the girls enough they were so empathetic and so so kind.

They let family stay in a room while I was giving birth and let family come in and out visiting me. How bad my situation was I couldn’t have thanked the midwives enough. Some of the girls from the birthing suite had even came down to visit me in the ward to see how we were. So kind!
