"It was non-judgmental and person centered"

About: Adult Health & Support Services / Occupational Therapy

(as a service user),

I was feeling depressed and guilty about not being a good mum.

I have put a lot of weight on and my self esteem is really low. I had anxiety about going out and felt depressed most of the time. I have a busy work schedule and also attending university so I am really busy. On my days off I had no energy and never took time for myself. My home life was getting to me and I felt guilty about not doing things with my daughter.

What was good:

I felt heard and it was non-judgmental and person centered.

They showed good empathy and things progressed at my pace.

It was well structured with realistic goals set.

They were very flexible with appointments.

Offered face to face and telephone appointments.

Dear indiahq36 many thanks for taking the time to provide such helpful feedback about your experience which sounds like it was offered in a person-centred way.

I wonder if you are able to provide me with any additional information such as the name of staff, team or base you were involved with?

That enables us to get the right information to the right place.

Many thanks and wish youe well into the future Lesley
