My 10-year-old daughter visited the Dental Hospital at Lauriston Place for the first time after a referral made by her local GP.
On our arrival we were taken within a minute of sitting down and met with some of the loveliest of staff.
Grace carried out an initial examination, putting my daughter at ease in a friendly, professional manner.
My daughter regularly has her teeth checked at our local dentist but with a new setting I anticipated apprehension from her.
How wrong could I be. She engaged with the staff and when Scott the consultant arrived to do a confirmation examination of Grace's findings, his manner, professionalism and just being a lovely person is a credit to the NHS and to he himself.
The whole experience was incredibly positive and on realising my daughter has Down's Syndrome, and had little verbal communication, the staff adjusted their approach and remained calm, friendly and professional.
I can't speak highly enough of this experience where all staff engaged brilliantly with my daughter and I am extremely thankful for them.
Well done folks, first class service and best wishes for all your futures.
