"My broken leg"

About: Royal Hospital for Children and Young People (Edinburgh) / Orthopaedics

(as the patient),

After getting my plaster cast off and moon boot on, I was unsure how to walk with my crutches. A medical student called Callum helped me when I almost fainted twice. He was really patient and very helpful.

MyaP thank you so much for your message, it is really kind of you to take time out of your day to let us know when someone in our team has really helped you.

I am a trauma coordinator and work closely with the orthopaedic team so I have been in touch with them to ensure we get the message to Callum to let him know his patience and help were appreciated as I'm sure it will mean a lot to him to hear this. I hope you are continuing to do well on your road to recovery!
