"Annoyed at mistake"

About: Sexual Health Services - Telford and Wrekin (Open Clinic)

(as a service user),

I went to the nurse at TelDoc to confirm if I had skin tags or warts. They said they were tags.

A few weeks later I made an appointment to see if I could get them removed.

I was very to angry to discover the nurse who said they were skin tags was wrong. They were warts. I wish they had said, "I think they are skin tags, but let's get checked out for sure"

Luckily for me, I had a nurse who was more concerned and asked me to get them checked.

So I had them frozen and an STI test done. The service was easier, informative and friendly.

I am just really annoyed about the nurse who told me they were skin tags. Even after I said a few had appeared all at once. I feel there needs to be better education.
