"The staff were very attentive"

About: Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick children / Emergency Department

(as a parent/guardian),

I visited children's ED recently with my 22 month old daughter. We were triaged quickly then seen by a great doctor called Patrick. I was a very anxious mum and Patrick listened to all my concerns and carried out a thorough and comprehensive assessment on my daughter.

I was very overwhelmed after my daughter had bloods done and was very kindly reassured by a lovely nurse called Sophie who was very understanding and supportive. Patrick answered all my questions which was so appreciated especially when the department was so busy.

The staff were very attentive to both mine and my daughter's needs and should be commended for the care they provide under such high pressure.

I am the Service Manager for ED in RBHSC. I would like to thank you for taking the time to post your comments on the very positive experience that you had when attending the ED with your daughter. I will ensure that your comments are shared with the staff involved in her care and I know that they will be delighted that you are happy with the care that they provided. I hope that your daughter continues to recover well.
