"Looking forward to finally having dentures that fit"

About: Glasgow Dental Hospital and School / Dental

(as the patient),

Approx 60 yrs ago I had an accident on board a ship whilst on holiday, which resulted in several teeth being broken. Over time, I lost other teeth and now have full dentures.

My dentist referred me to the hospital as he couldn’t get my new dentures to fit. At my first appointment Dr Dickie agreed to take my case and recently my first impression was done. I have another 7 appointments to go and am looking forward to finally having dentures that fit.

Dear Grandaddygus,

Dental trauma and loss of teeth is very upsetting, so sorry to hear that.

I am pleased to know that you now have a treatment plan in place with Doctor Dickie, you are certainly in very good hands. Wearing a new denture can be challenging at first but persistence is key, wishing you all the very best with your treatment.

Kindest regards,

Fiona
