"Not keeping to appointment times"

Usually I would never do feedback, I think every person, dept has their bad days where things just don't work out and we are all allowed these. But after attending orthopaedics for the 4th time I can't not say something. Everytime I have left the dept I've had a cry.. probably out of frustration of not being heard. Today topped it off though. I was going to to see a new consultant for the issue that I had being trying to be assessed for years, finally the day came. I arrived first thing in the morning, ten minutes early for my appt. after 1 hour and 25 mins of waiting I approached reception to tell them I had to leave as I myself had own clinic starting at 10.30, and I wasnt leaving people sitting the way I had been so I had to sacrifice my appt. I know can't see that Dr again until May!.

Biggest failing was being sent for uncomplicated x-rays which took ten mins in total. I was sent round to x-ray at 08. 40 and didn't get back round to ortho until 09.20. Don't give 08.30 appts out to people when they have to go to another dept first if it doesn't open till 9am, best of it was a staff member working in the department didn't swan in till 09.10!

So disappointed..do better
