"They will look after you well"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Breast Clinic University Hospital Hairmyres / Radiology

(as the patient),

Had an outpatients appointment recently at Hairmyres Hospital Eastkilbride breast clinic.

To say I was nervous is an understatement, as soon as I entered the waiting room I was greeted by a friendly receptionist, I was then called into the examination room by a lovely blonde consultant, think her name was Ashley. From the moment I sat down she made me feel at ease. She gave me a thorough examination and explained the process of what was happening next.

I then attended the x-ray department for a mammogram, again the radiologist was caring, lovely and patient. There was one last woman I would like to thank after the scans, apologies again as I don’t remember their names however all 3 of them made me feel at ease, showed great empathy and just generally lovely caring people .

I can’t thank you all enough. Without taking offence 😂 I obviously don’t want to be seeing you all again 😂 but want to let you and others know how your kindness has made a real difference and if anyone else has been referred to this department, please rest assured they will look after you well.

Thanks again
