"SafeTALK Suicide Awareness Course"

About: Maybush Medical Centre

I recently attended the SafeTALK Suicide Awareness course at Maybush Medical Centre. The session was incredibly informative, providing vital knowledge and practical skills to help support those struggling with suicidal thoughts.

The trainers compassionate and engaging approach made a sensitive topic accessible, and I came away feeling more confident in recognising warning signs and offering help. The course highlighted the importance of open conversations about mental health, and I truly believe initiatives like this are essential for our community.

A huge thank you to Maybush Medical Centre for hosting such an important event and to the organisers and trainer for their dedication. I highly recommend this course to others and hope more people take the opportunity to attend in the future

A heartfelt thank you for attending our suicide awareness session in collaboration with SafeTALK.

It was a powerful and emotional session focussing on the simple but vital steps we can all take to help save lives. Together we will build a culture of care, connection and courage.

We are proud to stand beside our patients and colleagues who are now better equipped to listen, support and make a difference.

Every conversation matters. Every life matters!
