I’ve been attending appointments with three Fife Sexual Health Service for a couple of years, predominantly with Alison. From the moment that you arrive you’re greeted by Paul who is friendly and organised. Nothing is too much of a request when it comes to appointments.
Alison has always been a great person to speak to and makes some awkward questions a lot easier, nobody.
Yesterday was the first time that I’d met Clinical Support Worker, Megan. Megan talked for a little while before handing me the samples that she needed me to provide.
I’ve had a bit of a tough time lately with some life changes and Megan without realising asked how I was doing. Unfortunately I’m a bit of an open book at the moment and without a lot of people to talk to she ended up hearing my life story and how I found life a little much to handle sometimes.
I can’t begin to say how valuable that short chat with Megan was. She listened and suggested ways that I could take some of the pressure out of my current situation. I hope that there’s a way to acknowledge the way that Megan behaved and her attitude during my appointment. It made a huge difference to me.
"A good appointment"
