I had a non GP health screening. My blood pressure has been v high. I am in an at risk group due to my age. I would like to speak with someone about this but I cannot book an appointment. Every time I try to log onto the website it is closed for the day. I visited the surgery but staff there said they could not help. By contrast I rang another local surgery and someone there spoke with me and gave me some helpful information but I am not in their catchment area. I am feeling very frustrated. Even if it was a month away I would be happy if I was allowed to organise a time when I could reliably expect to speak with someone who could help me. Simply closing the appointments list every day means that anyone who struggles with online booking systems always gets shoved to the back of the queue.
