"C-section experience - fabulous anaesthetist"

I had a C-section a year ago at the Ayrshire Maternity Unit (Crosshouse).

I was feeling very nervous about the section but as soon as I arrived at the hospital all of the staff were amazing and reassuring. The theatre team were amazing! 

A special mention goes to the anaesthetist, Karin.

Karin was absolutely fabulous at her job. Chatted and kept us both calm. I had an issue during the section and got quite a fright but she acted super fast, talked us through everything and was able to give me something that helped massively.

Karin then checked in on me the following day on the ward. Greatly appreciated and still thankful for her support to this day.
