"Great nursing team"

About: Oncology / Cancer Centre Ward 2A Treatment rooms / Waterside

(as a service user),

I had operation for removal of large abdominal cyst in June 2024. Subsequently I had to receive chemotherapy over following 6 months for cancer in Belfast City Hospital.

Throughout this period of my treatment I had to regularly visit the Treatment Room of Cityview Medical Centre in Londonderry.

The staff here ensured all my necessary blood tests and drugs were taken and administered. They made the procedures painless and always carried out with a smile and comforting words.

This saved me spending a full day each time having to travel to the hospital where I was receiving my chemo to have these tests done.

Great nursing team both at Belfast City Cancer Centre and my local medical centre treatment room in Waterside.

I am glad you have had such a positive experience and I hope you are keeping well.
