"Medication Review"

About: Patford House Partnership

One of the pharmacists called me last week to do a medication review - I have been taking this medication for 22yrs but the pharmacist didn’t appear to have read my notes and assumed I was taking it for a different medical condition so I needed to correct her. She was obviously working from home on the day she called me as the call was interrupted twice by a child demanding her attention. This led to her noting down my response to a question incorrectly and again she needed to be corrected. I found the call patronising (asking me if I know why I’m taking the medication!) and a waste of time to be honest and consider it to be very unprofessional being interrupted by a child whilst discussing my medical condition & therefore noting down incorrect information before being corrected.

Dear Lois, Thank you for sharing your experience, and we are sorry to hear about the issues you encountered during your medication review. I understand how frustrating this must have been, especially with the interruptions and incorrect information. Your feedback is valuable to us, and we truly appreciate you taking the time to share it. Kind Regards, Julie Taylor - Operations Manager
