About: Altnagelvin Area Hospital / Gynaecology FAU (Ward 43)

(as the patient),

I had a great experience at the early pregnancy clinic in altnagelvin today the two nurses where fantastic, however the room in which the clinic took place was sickeningly hot so much so that I felt really unwell leaving, air-conditioning needed asap, I don't know how the midwives stick it all day

hawkt55 thank you for highlighting your positive experience at the EPAU yesterday with the staff members involved in your care.

Thank you for bring to our attention from a patients perspective how uncomfortable the temperature. was in this room and I wish to apologise to you for this.

I want to reassure you that that the temperature within this setting is currently under review with an aim to being resolved for the comfort of both patients and staff.
