"The service I received when I went for Loop treatment"

About: The Ulster Hospital / Gynae Assessment Unit

(as the patient),

I loved the service I received once I got into the room where the doctor was, the two nurses that were working with the doctor were lovely and professional, the doctor was also lovely and professional, she explained each and every stage.

But I did not like the way the staff member that was seated by the reception was, hey only asked me me if I had an appointment and when I showed it to her they only said "oh colposcopy and left. I was sitting there by the waiting area not sure whether I was in the correct area or not and had to go and ask.

Dear Soko,

Thank you for taking the time to provide such positive feedback back regarding the nursing and medical care that you received when you attended the Colposcopy Service.

I am glad you had a reassuring appointment at what can be a worrying and stressful time. I shall ensure that your kind words are passed to the Dr and nurses involved.

I am disheartened to learn that you did not receive such a reassuring welcome from the receptionist. I shall pass this feedback on to their manager and ask that this is brought to their attention with the aim being improvement for future patients.

I apologise for this negative aspect to your care.

Thank you again,

kind regards,

Pauline
