(as a service user),

My operation was scheduled for the end of February the day before I was due to go in for it I got a phone call to say that my operation was being cancelled understandably due to the amount of trauma case in the hospital, the consultant called me the following day and he was hoping for a couple of dates in March. I have contacted the hospital for updates and was told I was down as a priority but other than that they can't tell me anything 

To say that I am disappointed is an understatement and the pain in my shoulder is just getting worse

Thank you for sharing your experience of University Hospital Wishaw, Trauma and Orthopaedics.

I am sorry to hear that your operation was cancelled at short notice and that you have still not been given a new date for this. I can only imagine how frustrating this must be for you considering you are still in pain.
