About: Hawthorn Medical Centre

I’ve had ongoing issues with Hawthorn Medical Centre that have left me incredibly frustrated. It’s nearly impossible to book an appointment — the phone lines are constantly busy in the morning, and I’ve often waited over 30 minutes just to speak to someone. When I finally get through, I’m told that all appointments for the day are already fully booked.

It feels like there’s no realistic way to access care here unless you’re lucky enough to call at the exact right moment. This is not acceptable for a GP practice, especially when people are trying to get help for urgent or ongoing health concerns.

The lack of availability and poor communication needs to be seriously addressed. I hope they take steps to improve soon, because right now, the level of service is incredibly disappointing.
