When I was first referred to St George’s Gynaecology department in 2021/2022 the care was great. Fair wait times and face to face appointments. I had a laparoscopy and could not have praised the team more.
Since my laparoscopy in 2023- it’s been dire. Trying to get an appointment has been just awful. For a year now every appointment I’ve had with gynaecology has been cancelled. Upon calling this time, the admin assistant shared that clinics have been cancelled for the past few months and the upcoming few months. Which seems to have been to story for the past year.
What on Earth is going on? I’m in pain, bleeding from places I shouldn’t be bleeding from and would like some answers to issues I raised over a year ago.
No communication to patients to seek medical treatment elsewhere, and by the sounds of it gynaecology at St George’s London, have no staff.
I’m so gutted, as generally my understanding and patience is good, and I praise St George’s a lot. But the past two years with gynaecology has been just awful and I feel is in urgent need of being sorted out.
