"Heart attack and subsequent surgery"

My husband had a near fatal heart attack in November 2023 - our experience from the paramedics who saved his life, through triple bypass  surgery and GP aftercare has been wonderful.  In particular the surgical team at the Golden Jubilee - their skill and calm professionalism will never be forgotten by us.  We did have to wait several months for a date for surgery, but that in no way reflected on the frontline medical staff who are clearly working flat out.

Hi Christine273,

I'm really sorry to hear you both went through such a traumatic experience. It's great to see though that your husband received such outstanding care throughout his NHS journey from all of the staff involved. They will really appreciate reading this feedback.

I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to praise our paramedics for the work they did on the day. It is much appreciated.

Take care and I hope your husband is doing ok following his rehabilitation,

Mark

Dear Christine273

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience on Care Opinion.

We're incredibly sorry to hear about your husband's heart attack, but deeply heartened to know that the care he received was to a high standard and he felt well cared for by all the teams he encountered.

Your kind words will mean a great deal to the teams involved, particularly the surgical team whose calm professionalism and expertise clearly left a lasting impression.

We’d like to make sure your feedback is shared with the GP practice directly, so they too can see the impact their care had. Would you be happy to let us know the name of the practice?

Thank you once again for getting in touch, and we wish your husband continued recovery and good health.

Kind regards

Kevin
