I received an urgent low risk appointment after my GP referred me for what they thought was an inflamed lymph node that has been swollen for a few months.
After a month of worry awaiting this appointment I was in and out in 6 minutes and told the lump was a tendon.
I have every trust in the experts but would have appreciated them to take the time to explain to me what they were feeling and maybe let me feel so I could understand myself how this round lump under my arm is a tendon. Other areas were not checked apart from the area of the complaint and the lymph nodes in my neck and jaw which I feel like would have also helped to reassure me.
Overall I feel a little underwhelmed as I have heard such wonderful things about this clinic and like I was rushed out.
