"Made a difficult time much easier for all of us"

About: Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow) / General Medicine (Ward 3C) University Hospital Wishaw / Trauma Assessment Unit University Hospital Wishaw / Urgent Care Centre

(as a parent/guardian),

My child fractured her arm. We received an X-ray and cast at University Hospital Wishaw emergency department/ Resus, then later were transferred to the Royal Hospital for Children, ward 3C.

We stayed from Saturday until Monday afternoon. My child received surgery there. I just want to say thank you to all the staff from both UHW and RHC including her surgeon, registrars, nurses, healthcare assistants, students, porters, domestic staff and everyone else. You made a difficult time much easier for all of us. Thank you so much.

Dear bracedz83,

Thank you for sharing your experience of University Hospital Wishaw.

It must have been such a worrying time for you and your family when your child broke their arm and I am so pleased that all the staff supported you and looked after you both.

I will ensure your kind words are passed on to the whole team who I am sure will get a real boost in hearing your feedback.

I hope your little one is on the mend.

Best Wishes,

Jenni
