In August 2024 my eczema flared up in a way it never had before. I got sent home from work due to not being able to walk as my eczema was that bad. From there it got worse, I was signed off work and constantly at the doctors but I was not getting any better.  

They referred me to Dermatology but unfortunately the wait list was long. 

My body looked like i had been burnt and I was in agony and very depressed. I asked for a letter to be sent to dermatology explaining how bad it was but that didn’t happen until January 2025. 

Finally I got seen in February 2025 and I am so thankful that I have had the help I needed.

Hello Ems04, thank you for taking the time to post feedback from your recent visit to dermatology unit, I am sorry that you had to wait for an appointment as our unit is extremely busy, we do try to see patients as soon as we are able. I am glad that you have now been seen and hope that your skin is improving. I wish you all the best for the future
