"Don't feel cared for. It's rotating door."

About: Ordsall Health Surgery

Ongoing issues for over 12 months, they don't care. They continue to throw PPIs at me that are now causing my hair to fall out (never discussed this with me when putting me on this "treatment", something I had to find out by researching more). I've been to numerous appointments to explain the "treatment" does not work. They cannot wait to get me out of the room.

One GP once literally sat there, said "okay" to everything I said and then asked ME what I wanted to do.. of which I asked is there anything else we can try and I got told "not really" before they sat there and just awkwardly stared at me as if to say "you've had your 5 minutes, go".

Can't even get an appointment at the exact place, they fob you off to other practices now who know little to nothing about you, and read up on your medical notes 5 minutes before your appointment. I've had to explain the exact same issue now over the past 12 months to around 6 different GPs all of which none seemed to actually care at all and tell me "you're already on the treatment" well great, all your "treatment" has done is caused my hair to begin falling out. To which I book an appointment to tell them I've ceased taking my medication due to the hair loss side effects and the best they can do is two weeks from the day I called, with a random GP at a totally different practice of which I'm going to have to explain yet again for the 100th time to another random GP what my poorly cared for journey has been.

I have no faith in this practice, and I have no faith in any of the GPs there, I truly feel uncared for.

Hi Tayla,

Thanks for taking the time to provide this feedback. We're really sorry that you haven't been happy with the service you've received at Ordsall Health Surgery. We try as much as possible to offer continuity of care, so that you can see the same GP, but appreciate this isn't always possible and can be frustrating. We'll look at how we can be better at this, and I'll ask our Practice Manager to reach out you directly to discuss your experiences in more detail.

Dr Rob Nawrocki
