"Poor experience "

About: Trentside Medical Group

Eventually got an appointment after numerous days of trying online and on the phone. I needed a fit note from my GP as my job has been affected by an on-going health condition, and recently I have been forced to withdraw from a work-related college course. I have been asked to provided evidence around absence from work as a result. I mis-explained this to the doctor - partly down to the confusion and head fog I am experiencing through my symptoms. The response from the GP was that it wasn't something they usually do and that it would be like "writing a letter about me not attending the gym". I was made to feel like I was abusing the system when I am not, which was upsetting. I left the appointment unsure whether the letter was being done or not, and I was told I would have to pay for it. Overall a bad experience.
