(as a service user),

I would like to thank all the staff at ninewells hospital for such a positive birth experience in February 2024. From the moment we arrived on the day, through to being taken down to theatre, to recovery then overnight our first night with a newborn. The staff were all helpful, lovely and supportive. We never imagined how positive a C Section birth could be, but all the staff involved in our care last year made this the best day of our life. So to the nurses, HCAs, porters, students, anaesthetists, doctors, assistants and everyone else - thank you; you do an amazing job.

Congratulations on the birth of your baby and thank you for taking time to share your feedback with our maternity team.

My name is Lee-Anne Abel, Senior Midwife for Acute Inpatient Areas within Ninewells.

It is wonderful to hear how positive your birth experience and overall care experience was and I will be sure to share your feedback across teams to celebrate. Our teams work really hard to make sure women and families have a positive care experience and I am delighted this was your experience.

To hear our teams made this "the best day of our lives" is heart warming!! Please know that your feedback is appreciated and supports teams in celebrating the positive difference they are making.
