"I was treated with real kindness and compassion"

About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Endoscopy

(as a service user),

I’ve been fortunate not to have required any type of procedure such as an endoscopy before so did not know what to expect. 

I was so impressed by the care, professionalism and efficiency of treatment I experienced. 

From checking in to the procedure itself carried out by Dr McGowan, and then the aftercare from the nurses who looked after me, I was treated with real kindness and compassion throughout. 

The quality of care in the unit is something RIE should be justly proud of.
