"Listened to and acknowledged"

I attended an appointment for and Adult ADHD appointment with my son who was seeing Alex at Ferham Clinic for the first time. My son wanted me to accompany him for support. Because of several previously difficult appointments at CAMHS over the years he  was anxious about explaining the difficulties he has. However, we were both very happy with how the meeting went. Alex was welcoming and friendly and helped my son to feel relaxed and valued. He came away from the meeting satisfied that his concerns were listened to and that a plan of care was finally in place. Alex listened to and acknowledged all our concerns. Thank you very much, Alex.
