"Uncontactable"

It seems they have removed the option of booking appointments on the NHS app, so the only way now is to ring to get an appointment. And as other reviewers have said, don’t bother.

I already had to go to the surgery to register for the app, taking proofs of address. Now I’m told I have to do it again. Receptionist tells me that even with the new systmonline, I won’t be able to message the GP via the app (a service other GPs do offer) because “there would be too many messages to deal with” i.e. throttling the service via the telephone.

Please do better. The care is otherwise excellent.
