I was admitted to Aberdeen maternity hospital at 33 weeks pregnant due to difficulties with breathing and fast heart rate.
I have long term health issues that were exacerbated with pregnancy.
During my almost 4 weeks admission I received numerous tests, examination, scans and monitoring to ensure the health of my baby and I.
I cannot fault the care I received from each and every nurse, midwife, doctor, consultant and auxiliary. Their treatment of baby and I was absolutely fantastic. Not only did they ensure baby and I physical health they supported my mental health under a very stressful time.
Each individual that treated me I will never be able to thank enough they all went above and beyond.
I was induced due to my health and my care in labour and theatre was excellent.
I personally thanked each staff member as they came into support me day in day out and see me come through a traumatic time. But I wanted to write this statement to say thank you, as without their help and support it could have been different outcome for me and my baby.
I hope this message is not gone unnoticed because the team at Aberdeen maternity hospital are amazing!!
