I have now attended CHEC appointments on three occasions and nothing appears to be joined up. My eyes are tested and then I have a referral to a 'doctor' at a different time and location all of which are miles from where I live, there is no public transport. Normally about a month after my appointment I receive a threatening letter telling me that if I don't make an appointment I will be assumed as not to require further treatment. Unfortunately due to their extremely poor communication systems it is almost impossible to sort anything out with their admin team.
I therefore conclude not only do they have very poor administration but also their communication system does not meet the needs of their clients.
