"Professional, cheerful and friendly staff"

I was attending for a prearranged colonoscopy.

Things started badly as there was a mix-up where the person who was to carry it out was on holiday, and admin got it wrong and did not realise they were off.

They advised all patients that they would put Plan B into operation and try to get other people to carry out the procedures.

This they successfully did and the procedure, with some delay, was carried out with no more fuss.

I must say that all staff reacted well to the potential problems the admin error could have caused and behaved in a very calm and professional manner and certainly put my mind at rest.

All staff, without exception, were professional, cheerful, and friendly which helped me to relax during what was for me a stressful experience.
