"Words fail me to express the utmost care each Nurse showed"

I was invited for Day surgery recently.

Understandably I was not a priority and had to wait over 6 hours that caused my anxiety to raise but I must commend the initial care staff who noticed and indeed showed concern and kept checking on me.

When it came my turn for surgery i began to feel immensely cared for. The Nurses who prepared me for surgery pampered me that was better than my prescribe medication and i knew i was in good hands, quickly and carefully put to sleep.

The Surgeons who performed the operation must be praised even though i was unconscious and when i awoke in the recovery ward the Nurses were very attentive, even though some of these Nurses were nearing the end of 12 hour shifts they had the energy and importantly the compassion that again was better than any prescription medicine.

Words fail me to express the utmost care each Nurse showed to little old me but my utmost gratitude to each and every one of them will remain a constant memory.

I would hope that my words are filtered back to all the Staff at the day Surgery as it is important to me that they are recognised for the great efforts they performed.
