"Misdiagnosed lung cancer "

About: Studholme Medical Centre

The GP told me over the phone appointment that my cough that has been going on for 7 months was due to a viral infection and she didn’t want me to come in for an examination. I didn’t agree with her so I went to A&E where I was assessed and had an x ray and I’ve been told I got lung cancer. If the GP in Studholme saw me 7 months ago and examined me then the lung cancer would

Be caught early and I would be cured but now it’s incurable because Studholme makes you wait very long for phone appointments and they won’t give you face to face appointments to be examined by doctor anymore. I think Studholme must give very patient face to face appointment and not make them wait 13 weeks for a telephone appointment. Studholme should not be allowed to refuse the patient face to face appointment which is what they are doing. And please let patient see GP and not the cheaper nurse or paramedic who doesn’t have knowledge like the doctor. Patient first and profit last please Studholme manager.
