"An outstanding pillar in the community"

About: Public Health Nursing / Health Visiting Service

(as the patient),

Bridgeen my health visitor is an outstanding pillar in the community.

She has been so warm, helpful and caring.

I was allocated Bridgeen as my health visitor when my son was born 6months ago. As a first time mum i was scared and clueless. She literally was there for me from the second i met her until this day.

She is such a lovely person and extremely professional, she started classes for us on a Friday for 6 weeks. During these classes we met with other mums, done baby massage and sensory, learned about weaning and car safety. She invited 2 ladies to come and do a session on CPR and choking and finishing the 6 weeks with an easter party with easter cards and footprints, bunny ears and a keep sake for our babies. This is something she chose to do herself, she is so dedicated to her job and genuinely willing to help her mummys and babies in every possible way!

She is an absolute lady and I feel extremely lucky for myself and my son to have been allocated Bridgeen and benefit from her skills and knowledge. I truely would have been lost without her during these last 6 months!

Dear MickS

My name is Elizabeth Whyte and I am a lead nurse in Public health nursing.

Sincere thank you for your heartfelt feedback regarding your health visitor Bridgeen. It is lovely to read that Bridgeen has been a great support in your new parenting journey, providing advice and reassurance.

I am delighted the baby and me group facilitated by Bridgeen has been valuable and informative. The Easter party sounds like it was great fun for all with a lovely personal touch of cards, footprints, bunny ears and keepsakes for the babies.

Thank you for taking the time to share your story, your kind words mean a great deal to us and will be shared with Bridgeen and health visiting colleagues.

Best wishes

Elizabeth
