I went in because of my heart pulsating and was seen by a student healthcare professional who told me the were bored being there and annoyed that they missed a lady having a miscarriage recently. I was disgusted!
They swore many times, took their phone out to check their reflection and spoke very unprofessionally to me whilst I was having an ECG, demanding that I keep still and don't speak! I was barely allowed to breathe it seemed.
They forgot to do most of the checks seemingly as their mentor came in and asked questions about what they had done. The whole procedure had to be re done because they hadn't asked the relevant questions before proceeding.
It was the worst experience I've had in a hospital. In my opinion they shouldn't be there unsupervised, taking care of and talking to vulnerable people. Also, I was in pain and not once was I offered pain relief.
