On behalf of service user who recently spent time at the woodland and dedicated these poems to us all.
Goodbye drink
Goodbye drink goodbye ale
All the things that make me pale
Welcome life it starts right now
Ime scared already and shout aloud
You make me sick you make me ill
And drinking this, against my pills
Goodbye drink i want my life
To be myself and no more strife
I was a prisoner in myself
The devil came again to delve
Goodbye drink my life was low
You know you had to surely go
I feel ime stronger day by day
But my cravings never going away
Goodbye drink no good to me
I want my life back don, t you see
Sunny days
The sun has come i welcome that
No rainy days, brolly or a hat
It, s time to smile as warmth is here
Chilly days gone i smile and cheer
No cloud in sky with sun at bay
People barbeque and party all day
Flowers blossom green grass smells
Daisy fields with all blue bells
My day seems fine so far ahead
My blind drawn up and no sleepy head
The smell of clothes all clean on line
Reminds me of home in earlier time
Laughter and cheer from nehbours around
Keeps me safe with that beautiful sound
My life starts now i say to myself
If you do not have wealth then do this for health
Enjoying the sunshine through the trees
Watching birds eat nuts the buzzing of bees
What a wonderful feeling now in the sun
I guess a great day has begun
"Goodbye drink and sunny days"
