"I was treated with the utmost care and kindness by them all"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

I was admitted to AAU with severe abdominal pain in late March.

I cannot praise enough all the staff I came across from the ambulance team, the doctors, the nurses, the auxiliaries, the domestic staff, the porters and occupational therapy. I was treated with the utmost care and kindness by them all.

I was moved to B11 the following day and was settled in and made to feel welcome to the ward. I had excellent care from everyone for my two week stay.

I also want to thank Mairi, the Palliative Care Nurse, who went out of her way to reassure me when I was distressed. I cannot thank them enough for their kindness.
