The retention happened suddenly. Waited but a short while in A and E. Catheter inserted painlessly, every thing explained. Then a wait whilst a take home catheter " kit" was found. Really good service from every one. Maybe could have given me a leaflet on catheter care , but found details on internet and DN follow up was speedy. You will be pleased to learn the catheter was removed painlessly after one week. Thank you staff at A and E Richard
