"Patients supportive of one another but DVD players need repairing"

About: Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust / Adult mental health (inpatient)

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

The patients on Redwood 1 ward are generally supportive of one another, and if someone feels anxious, everyone tries to re-assure them.

We have expensive DVD playing equipment which doesn't work. What it would cost to have it repaired would only be a fraction for what the DVD players themselves cost, and they are useless until repaired.

It is good to hear that there is a sense of local community on the unit where you can support each other. The television equipment has been tested and all dvd playing equipment is in working order now.

I am aware this post may be as far back as February 2014 when taken. If there are ever any issues with equipment being broken or faulty I ask that it be reported to staff as soon as possible to reduce delays.
