At my last diabetic review appointment on January at Liverpool Royal Hospital I booked for my next visit for mid summer.
Before the date I received a letter stating my appointment on a date unknown to me had been cancelled and a further appointment not made. In the same envelope was letter giving me an appointment for the end of the year.
I rang the appointment line - 0151 706 5555- at 8. 30 am to sort out what was happening.
I was informed that my original appointment booked in January had been cancelled and moved to the date they cancelled, I had not been notified of this original change of date. The replacement appointment they gave in late summer had now been cancelled and I had been given the next available date, towards the end of the year.
At no point was there any apology or explanation of why the above had happened.
I am not very happy with the way this situation has been handled.
"Very unhappy with appointment booking"
