Upon arriving at A&E it was very busy but had to wait only 20 minutes to be seen. I was then passed onto a registrar then emergency surgeon, all of which settled my nerves and gave me all they painkillers they possibly could. At 10pm I was transferred to Ward 3D, the nursing staff were absolutely fantastic. They called my parter(he didn't pick up the first time) and because I couldn't sleep, the nurse called again, so I managed to speak to him before going down to surgery at 1:30am. When I cam round, I was greeted by a nurse(or a HCA) she was the kindest person I've ever met, she sorted all my pillows out, helped change my bed and kept her eye on my because I was very ill. Upon being discharged the next day, she said how worried she was about me the day before. This nurse as well as the rest of the team are an absolute credit to the hospital and I cannot thank them enough.
"Great service in both A&E and Ward 3D"
