What I liked
it was very clean.
What could be improved
i was in the delivery suite in early labour, then my contractions calmed down, so i got moved to the ward, and my boyfriend had to go home as a result, as he wasnt allowed to stay on the ward. Then a couple of hours later my contractions started again, so i got told i would have to be moved to another hospital, as my baby was a few weeks early and they had no space in neo natal, and could be moved as far as nottingham. luckily, i was moved to the james padget, which wasnt as far.
This made me feel let down by my local N&N hospital. when i talked to staff, i was told there are not enough staff or beds to cope with the baby boom.
i think the N&N needs to build a bigger delivery and neonatal suite, big enough to cope with the demand of the norfolk region. They also need to employ more staff, as it was very apparent how under staffed the unit was.
"it was very clean."
