I was admitted to the Trauma and Ortopaedic Surgery Unit of the Royal Surrey County Hospital for elective surgery under Mr J. W. Rosson and his team. Following the procedure, I remained for several hours in the Recovery Unit and then transferred to the Bramshott Ward where I stayed for six days during early August.
My thanks go to the anaesthetic, surgical, nursing, physiotherapy, pharmacy and all other staff who contributed to my treatment and subsequent recovery.
Hospitalisation is not usually an experience to relish, however, the kind and considerate attention and support given to me by these professionals made my experience much easier to cope with.
The hospital organisation system must also be recognised and praised for the smooth running of the management of the pre- and post-operative stages.
Many thanks again to our NHS and its wonderful staff who make the Service one of the best in the world
